The brief
The South African Tourism Board created a global concept to launch internationally. We were briefed to support them with cultural consultation and transcreation of the launch campaign.
The challenge
TV and a series of print executions were planned to run in different markets. With the very diverse audience in each country that SAT targeted at, the copy need to be adapted specifically for each market.
We worked with the lead agency to identify the 'hot buttons' for each market. The 'hot buttons' then formed the guidelines for choosing the relevant visuals and tailor-made creative executions for each market.
The outcome
The campaign maintained a consistent look but have a distinctive emphasis for markets including China, Japan, the Netherlands, France and Italy.
