Client: Sony
Media: TVC/DVD multimedia adaptation, voiceover production
The brief
Sony PCL produced a creative DVD user manual featuring a computer graphic cartoon character. The objective was to create a unique user manual that was user friendly, without heavy technical jargon. The content was creative and the script was written with a lively Americanised humour. We adapted the script, which was produced centrally, for Italy, Portugal, France, Germany, Russia, Netherlands and Spain.
The challenge
Animation is a difficult process to manage. Working from a guide track for the first rough-cut, scripts were fine-tuned to facilitate lip-sync of all characters. We also audition the character voices and manage the VO recording all in London to achieve cost efficiency.
The outcome
Adaptation work was completed in just five days for the 45 minute script. Local clients were also able to discuss copy changes directly with our in-market copywriters.
