The brief
Guerlain Paris has developed a new skincare global campaign. World Writers were tasked to adapt the campaign including the brand theme line and a series of print ads for the new product lines.
The challenge
Advertising on skin care products has to appeal to the emotions of consumers. Literal translations don't usually do the trick. Our in-market copywriters have to make use of their unique understanding of the local consumers in order to be able to transcreate the advertising in a tone and manner that is appropriate for the local market and that perfectly respects all the messages included in the original French claim.
The outcome
A local adaptation of the global print campaign was developed for markets including Germany, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Netherlands, Middle East, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. World Writers also centrally managed the comments from each local market and have kept headquarters in Paris abreast of the feedback.
