The brief
After winning the account to launch Amstel globally, 180 Worldwide worked with World Writers to make sure that the central creative idea was translated seamlessly in markets ranging from Russia to Greece, Taiwan to Korea.
The challenge
The concept of 'filtered beer' was quite a new one in many foreign markets and therefore the perception of its quality had to be reassured. The essence of the message was to filter out all the bad things in life in order to preserve the good ones. The message needed to be adapted carefully so as to communicate clearly the product quality and also reflect the lifestyle of the target audience.
The outcome
We took the big idea and the framework of the execution and adapted the copy creatively, making sure the campaign worked equally well from Europe to Asia. We have now worked on the campaign from TV, print, OOH and interactive mediums.
